The Todd Group, Inc. is a collaborative landscape design-build team of designers, project managers, and craftsmen, specializing in high-end projects throughout NJ, NYC, the Hudson Valley and beyond. We are currently looking for a self-starting and detail-oriented professional with experience in project resource allocation & management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization and scheduling of physical and personnel resources to achieve forecasted production goals, implement projects within projected budget, and meet critical project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Create & maintain master production schedule for multiple landscape construction & installation crews; tracking of progress & confirming project completion.

Manage client experience & expectation throughout project implementation phase.

Work closely with Project Manager/Buyer on scheduling of crews & logistics of materials, permitting, deliveries, & on-site material inventory.

Assist team with site visits, proposal writing, cost estimating & billing.

Manage allocation of fleet, equipment, & internal inventory. Interpret & understand architectural drawings & construction documentation.

Field liaison with inside sales & production.

Evaluate & improve current best practices for quality control & improved efficiency.

Qualifications:

Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter.

Must be able to collaborate with multiple foremen & Inside Sales/Design staff on the organization & implementation of projects of multiple sizes.

Experience with personnel & budget management, resource allocation, & oversight of field operations.

Strong written & verbal communication skills; extensive client interaction required.

Demonstrate a leadership acumen, positive attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit

Experience and understanding of reading and interpreting architectural plans; layout & management of multi-faceted projects required; landscape specific knowledge is preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; interest in working primarily in the field.

Demonstrate knowledge of landscape construction methods & materials, including plant identification.

Minimum 10 years industry experience

Computer skills essential. Sage300 CRE, On Screen Take Off, Sketchup, AutoCad a plus.
