The Todd Group Inc. is a family-owned landscape design-build firm known for creating timeless garden spaces, outdoor kitchens, patios, and water features. Alongside our sister company, Peters – Todd’s, a full-service tree care provider, we manage a wide range of vehicles and equipment—from trucks and trailers to loaders, lifts, and handheld tools.

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically savvy Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance, care, and long-term planning of our equipment and vehicle fleet. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, takes pride in a well-run operation, and values teamwork.

What You’ll Do

As our Fleet Manager, you’ll be responsible for keeping our teams on the road and our jobs running smoothly by:

Managing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, heavy equipment, and small tools

Creating and overseeing a preventative maintenance schedule

Tracking equipment usage, maintenance logs, and repair needs

Coordinating service and warranty work with authorized vendors

Monitoring fleet registrations, licenses, and warranties

Working closely with managers and foremen to support equipment needs

Ordering parts and supplies, and managing vendor relationships

Preparing budgets and equipment forecasts

Coordinating equipment retirement, resale, and auction logistics

Keeping the garage and workspaces clean, organized, and safe

Supporting seasonal snow operations as needed

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience managing fleets or equipment in construction, landscaping, or a related field

Mechanical background with knowledge of trucks, trailers, and small engines

Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance

Strong organizational and time management skills

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Computer skills for scheduling, tracking, and recordkeeping (experience with fleet software a plus)

Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
